Driving Directions to Finger Lake
Make your way to Vanderhoof B.C. the geographical centre of B.C. Drive west on Highway 16 from Prince George or East on Highway 16 from the west coast and Prince Rupert. When you reach Vanderhoof turn South on Nechako Avenue/Kenny Dam Road (TC Tire Centre / old Kwik Save Gas Station & Rich's Saw Sales) Kenny Dam Road is marked with a Green Sign over the Highway. On the North side of Hwy 16 there is a Blue Finger Lake Sign.

Proceed up the hill to the top of the Plateau, follow the sign to Resort Lakes turning right,(Odometer reads 5.0 mi/8.3 Kms) pass through Saik´uz Indian Reserve, past Nulki Lake, where the road will eventually change to gravel. (Odometer reads 9.8 mi/16.4 Kms) Continue past Tachick Lake and watch for the next major road crossing at the top of the hill which will be Kluskus Forest Road, there you will spot the Finger Lake Sign. (Odometer reads 15.8 mi/26.4 Kms)
Turn Left (south) onto the Kluskus Forest Road until you reach the 59 Km road marker. (Odometer reads 40.1 mi/67.8 Kms) Turn left, (south) on to Gold Road. ( Finger Lake Sign) Note: Recent Road Straighening Just after the 59 Km marker there is new road straightening, stay to the far left or turn left on to Gold Road (also known as the Kluskus-Lavoie Forest service road)
Proceed down into the valley for 4 Kms to our drive way. (Odometer reads 43.1 mi/71.8 Kms)
Turn Left again onto our drive way which is 1.5 Kms (Finger Lake Sign). Once past the steep hill and the gate the roads descends into the valley. If you were able to stay on course your odometer should now read 44.0 mi/73.3 kms.  Give or take a couple clicks.
